Common Concerns for the Client
  • Too many leads are unresponsive or just researching — not enough are turning into real conversations or booked jobs
  • With 34 active ads and no new creatives launched in the last 14 days, the campaign may be going stale
  • The retainer is $0 so Ross may be questioning whether the effort and ad spend are worth continuing without a stronger pipeline
Action Steps We Are Taking
  • Launch at least 3–5 fresh creatives this week given zero new ads have been introduced in the last 14 days — prioritize video or UGC angles that create urgency and filter out early-stage researchers
  • Audit and consolidate the 34 active ads, pausing low-spend and low-CTR variants to concentrate budget behind the top performer (Creative #1 - Copy 2 at 3.03% CTR and $254.50 spend)
  • Implement a lead quality filter in the intake form — add a qualifying question such as timeline or budget range to reduce tire-kicker submissions before they enter the pipeline
  • Coordinate with Ross on a faster follow-up sequence for live transfers, reinforcing that speed-to-call is the primary lever for conversion given his team is already struggling to reach leads
Objections & Reframes
  • Objection: A lot of these leads just aren't serious — they're wasting my time. Reframe: That's actually showing up in the data too, and it tells us we need to tighten the front end of the funnel. We're adding a qualifying question to the form this week so leads self-select before they ever hit your phone.
  • Objection: Other agencies are running ads for me and seeing the same thing, so I'm not sure this is working. Reframe: That consistency actually confirms the issue isn't the ads — it's market behavior right now with buyers in research mode. The advantage we can push is speed and qualification, because whoever reaches these leads first with the right message wins, and that's where we're focused.
  • Objection: We haven't seen any new creative tested recently — is the campaign just sitting? Reframe: You're right to call that out — we haven't launched new creative in 14 days and that changes this week. We're building fresh angles now specifically designed to speak to buyers who are ready to move, not just browsing.

HOT TRANSFERS ARE THE WAY TO GO. Steve attempted to call Raelyn, but overall many of the leads have been difficult to reach. It’s also been challenging to get appointments scheduled, as a lot of prospects seem to be in the early research phase and are mostly just kicking the tires. He mentioned that he’s seeing similar results with ads being run by other agencies as well, so he doesn’t feel this is specific to our campaign. The challenges appear to be consistent across the board, and he’s not placing blame on us.
